Tashkent technical school of hydrometeorology was established in 1948. Since 2004, the technical school has been called the Tashkent Hydrometeorological Vocational College. According to the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-4896 dated November 17, 2020, the Tashkent Hydrometeorology Technical College was established on the basis of the Tashkent Hydrometeorology Vocational College.

Seismology is the branch of geophysics that studies earthquakes and other waves that occur in the Earth's crust. Seismology mainly focuses on the analysis of the internal structure of the earth, tremors and related processes, and plays a major role in the study and forecasting of earthquakes.
Ecology and environmental monitoring is a system of evaluating, monitoring and controlling the natural environment and its condition, the impact of human activities on the environment, as well as the health and stability of ecological systems. Ecological monitoring is very important to protect natural resources and the environment, prevent dangerous ecological situations and ensure ecological stability.
In hydrometeorology, communications and telecommunications are communication systems and technologies used in the processes of collecting, analyzing, and disseminating weather data. These areas play an important role in ensuring fast and efficient transmission of hydrometeorological information.
"Hydrology" specialization of the Tashkent Hydrometeorological Technical School is a field specializing in the study of water resources. This specialty provides students with theoretical and practical knowledge of hydrological processes, monitoring of water bodies, water balance analysis and effective use of natural water resources. Graduates of the specialty will have the necessary skills and qualifications for professional activity in the field of hydrology.
"Meteorology" specialty of the Tashkent Hydrometeorological Technical School is a field specializing in the study of atmospheric phenomena. This specialty teaches students theoretical and practical knowledge of observing, analyzing and forecasting climate and weather processes. Students learn to work with meteorological equipment, data processing and environmental monitoring. Graduates of the specialty will have the skills necessary to work in the field of meteorology in accordance with modern requirements.
"Cadastre" specialty of the Tashkent Hydrometeorological Technical School is a field specializing in the management and registration of land resources. This specialty provides students with the knowledge and skills to determine the legal status of land plots, create cadastral maps, carry out geodetic measurements, and create a land database. Graduates have the theoretical knowledge and practical experience necessary to work in the cadastral system, and actively participate in the processes of effective use and management of land resources.
Tashkent Technical University of Hydrometeorology was established in 1948, and since 2020 it has been part of the Central Asian University of Environmental and Climate Change Studies.
Technikum is the only center in Central Asia for training mid-level specialists in the fields of Meteorology, Hydrology, Communication and Telecommunication in Hydrometeorology, Cadastre, Seismology, Ecology, Environmental Protection.
The teachers of the technical school exchange experience in countries such as Japan, Germany, Finland and Russia, and actively participate in the improvement of educational programs.
A modern digital weather station Vaisala of Finland and distance education systems have been introduced in the territory of the technical school.
